That works so much better - really lovely in fact. I'v never tried this type of high key, with removing the darker tones. I'm itching to have a go after seeing yours.

Thanks for the comments, you were correct about the eyes, I've removed some of the dark circles around them. She's not the daugher of Heidi in the tuba, she's the daughter of my youngest daughter who by the way also thought she looked a sick with the dark circles around the eyes.

Beautiful little girl, Shelby. Is she the daughter of Heidi of tuba fame? I like the high key treatment. My only criticism is that the exact degree of the original that you've chosen to keep makes her look a little ill - dark rings round the eyes. Maybe a touch more or less: I'm no judge of how to balance it, but for me it needs a little adjustment. Perhaps it would show better on a CRT monitor, my LCD does tend to emphasise contrast...so don't just take my word for it :-)
