Small image,
that rainy sun,
or flash reflection
in the car window,
-whichever it is-
but how bright it shines,
like your own brilliant heart
that softens the rain
of my life’s sorrows.

Rainy son,
your artist nature
intense and deep,
your splash is just a hint
at the river you will be.
