You often dwell on the "Two China's" theme, and this is certainly one of your best. The "Old China" comes to us here as an after thought, shunted off to one side to make way for "today's China."
And that tree Ana, its about to collapse on that beautiful modern world. I'm glad you spotted the separation role it played. As to the bike, it amazes me they can move them...;-)
Under pressure... Yes!! The view from that bike on the left is really incredible and well, I don't think it will take the abuse of having a peron on top of it too... Again this image plays with the different worls... On one side of the image we see modernity with the cars speeding fast and on the other the stillness of a time that sometimes we think it no longer exists, but it's alive here in these photos of yours.
