September 12, 2005. At age 15 Alex had surgery to remove a mouth tumor. Soon he
was running around like a pup, feeling great! He had another three months of wonderful
health and happiness. During the fourth month the tumor came back and the cancer also
went to his lungs. He began to get weak after Xmas, and when pain started we ended
it for him so he didn't have to suffer. He was fifteen and a half, and had a good long life.
