Mapperton gardens, near Beaminster, Dorset

I'm not sure what this flower is but I liked the way it was highlighted both by the sun and the deep green foliage behind it. I also like the combination of lines ~ verticals on the flower and diagonals in the greenery. I hope you enjoy it too.
