Too noisy?

Sometimes we have to play a just a little bit...
a little noise can be good,
too much contrast can be fun too
and what we cannot see, we just have to imagine...

What? I can't hear you! That'll be you blaring the hardcore, funky SP vibes again. :D

If you use it well, noise can be good, and it works in this shot. I love your experimental stuff, this one is sooo funky :)!

There is a lot to like here...the grain, tones, light, shadow, and the partially obscured body. Great shot!

I see heat, and you are hot (physically and metaphorically ;-))I like the Alem style burn out, it's copper, and I don't see grain/noise, just physical poetry...
JazzyJess09-Oct-2005 00:30
Great one ! Love your shadow on the wall, and the choice of colors and noise.
Chris08-Oct-2005 00:49
The treatment gives this heat. Both hue and sensuality-wise.
Guest 07-Oct-2005 19:25
this is no noise, it is just music ;-))))

No, not too much noise. I like the colour effect from the strong contrast. My only suggestion would be lighten the shadow as I feel it is too strong and takes away from the liveliness of the scene. Love those thin orange vertical lines on the frame.

Evocative.
Guest 07-Oct-2005 05:38
Brilliant picture. We used to call it 'grain', remember? You're going to do great stuff with this camera, I'm sure.
Sam_C07-Oct-2005 04:41
You've got a creative eye Ana. Great marriage of image and noise!!
Guest 07-Oct-2005 02:23

jude07-Oct-2005 02:00
The color.. the noise .. the contrast add to this very sensual and evocative SP.. very well done.

I love these type of photographs. The distortion of the image brings out the clarity of the idea.

It was a nowhere night.Drifting in my coughmobile into the city core.Enough bucks in my back threadbare pocket to burn away a few hours of mindless pleasure.Maybe it was the neon that sucked us in like stupid bugs enamoured by a fleshy gibbous moon.Or some promise falsely imagined of stimulating conversation over a creamy laite.Better than blanking away the evening in company of the static cursed boobbox.Grub was gulped down pelican style, back at the flat after a da** long work shift.Making my motor clangachug downtown even later. You might as well have parked six miles out of town as trying to find any,I mean any available cranny to squeeze your wheels into.Well.There was always the mall crawl for the losers.Count me in.Crap.I stalled my beast under a flickering halogen.Zipped up my windbreaker against the howling gale. And dragged my carcass down the stairs along the concrete. All the enthsiasum of a wet cig.

Squinting before the entrance now.The walls funneled the teeny boppers like cattle into the disco trap, off to the left of the main drag. The wind was whipping like a hurricane.Crying louder than the rap beat throbing from the blaster cave.Light pulsated through the windows.I could feel the vibes throbbing in my own chest they were so screaming loud.

My madness at the boisterous clamour evaporated instantly. My sideways glance frozen. As she trapped me.The drizzled windows graining her serpentine slither.Contorting erotically to the laser rhythms thundering upon my eyeballs.Wild mane of an untameable creature.Untouchable.And fascinating.Glass seperated our worlds.A film of surface tension. That I wanted to press my handsmile against. To see if it was real.If I could enter her carnal realm...

- heavy rockin beat yeah! V! -
