I love the interplay of three textures in this image, Kal. Earth, skin, and wall. The image is rich in contrast as well, something you tend to avoid in much of your black and white work. The slight coloration gives it a vintage feel. The vantage point abstracts the horse --we learn much about it without ever seeing the face.
Thanks Ana. I am hoping to take more in the future. As I mentioned to Alem, this is an experiment to see if I can do this. Something different...a bit like alot of your galleries.
I like this one very much. The light is quite fantastic and I really like the way all the tones seem to blend in this photo... And suddendly here I am wondering about what the horse could be thinking... This definitely means that you've made a great photo!!
