Yesterday I went to the Sol Duc River to watch the migrating salmon attempt the cascades. It was incredible to see
them jump up through the raging river, often just to be swept back down to the pools below. The ones who
eventually make it all the way to the top must indeed be very strong. Capturing the action was challenging, too. These fish move very quickly!
