28th September 2005

There was just something about this woman's
fabulous yellow coat, the yellow bus and the
yellow lines on the road that caught my eye....

Had to try and do a rescue job with different Raw
exposures in layers, because it all happened so quickly
I didn't have a chance to adjust the camera settings.
(First time I've tried that in PS.) :/
Having a honking great bus suddenly cast you into shadows does
nothing for the candid photographer... ;p

Great timing makes for a really interesting shot. Looks a good tip for candid - catch them when they are concentrating on something else.

and even yellow in her dress. I really like this candid shot. I admire daily life captured like this. Even though you made a quick decision to shoot, it turned out really well.

You did well - this is a great shot. I also like the mix of lines, vertical on the right, horizontal on the left.
