Thank you, Kal. I see what you mean. I didn't consider the "crucial moment" issue so far. Thanks for the explanations. It is clear now. The portrait is amazing BECAUSE of the "unintentional".

Well Alem, this is a serious game, for money. When I took it, it was because I wanted to capture the concentration/seriousness of it all. What I got unintentionally was this, he is not looking at what he is doing, at this critical moment, in the split second between striking his white ball, and the ricochet. He suffers a momentary lapse in concentration (probably due to me), but maybe there is some vanity there also. The camera captures, what the eye can not see.

Kal, this is an amazing portrait with a fantastic light and an exceptional black and white. I have been in front of it the whole day.
It is so beautiful that all the rest, included the "unintentional", doesn't really matter.
I would like to have an opinion of you on this, please.

This one is really a wow!!! kind of image... At least for me :))
I love how much you've allowed us to see in such dim light. The motion blur looks great also, especially because you've shot this from such a low angle and for us it seems that some ball is going to fly our way, oops!! ;) The man's expression is really descriptive to what is going on... I feel like I am there also watching the game, which means that you've managed to create such a believable composition that really fuels the imagination.
Amazing capture!! My favourite :))
