It was a mistake.To be.Here.Being eaten alive by my worst thoughts.Doomed to cower and drown inside jungle ink.Skin pebbled with shivering rivers of sweat.That melted as a sheen down my forehead.Coalescing in a chin drop.That would surely fall as thunder upon the earth.And reveal my flesh to that animal terror.Consumed.I willed my heart and my lungs to drum with silence.Not to scream as my firesoul.Burning.Burning with the traitor of my eye.That dared to face the unfaceable with bold stupidity.The next second would surely kill me.
