Sep 26: PotD #1000

Something special for my 1000th PotD. The first complete photo of my 1964 VW, shot high on the wiley windy moors.... actually it was very windy up there!

When I started doing this, 1000 days ago, I didn't know if I'd last a week. A year seemed a worthy goal. But a year passed, and then another, and I decided to quit at #1000. But it's crept up and I don't feel ready. What will I do tomorrow? Would anyone notice? What if I quit, then regret it in two weeks time? Is this the end? How about another 1000?

Happy birthday Mike!

And I think the Lurker looks rather nice in b/w up on the moors, all windswept-like...

I would notice, too. You've been one of the true inspirations on this PAD travel. Everytime I think of giving up, I see your latest and it makes me get back at it. Not that I'm laying my success on your shoulders or anything....

On balance, I think keep going. Happy birthday to me. Car and sheep look good, can't help thinking that it would look better with starting lights just in front of the car!

3..,2..,1.. GO..

Congratulations on 1000 pictures! Please don't stop; I'd feel as if I'd lost a friend. The Lurker is beautiful. So is the countryside behind it.

What a sweet ride David. And what sweet 1000 days you have had. As I have said before, I think you set a standard for serious photographers that is worthy paying attention to.
I am hoping for 1000 more examples!

You can't quit! You've only just begun! ;) You've gotta do both the lurker and cornwall justice by carrying on! ... Keep up the good work!!

Well, you've now got the whole of Cornwall to shoot. Another 1,000 easy!
Its been quite a journey David...lurk a bit longer, will you?

I'd notice. David, that car is breathtaking. And I love the reflections of its proud owner. ;)

I rather think we would notice, your page is the only one I visit on the web with any culture. I know nothing about photography, but I know what I like and I see lots of that here. Thanks.
