I know you've had this image up for a while but I thought I would add a comment. I have a couple of rules I use: Looking at the scene through the camera, or even in post processing, does what you see add to the image or take away from it. In other words, does it need to be there? Does it help or hinder the beauty of the image, idea or concept. For instance: does having the tail end of the car add to the image or take away. Would it add to the image if the headlight and the front corner of the car was visible. It's all up to you and what you decide you need in the image to fulfill your vision of what you were trying to portray.

Good suggestion from Matthew, except I'd go further. Crop off everything in the right side of the image up to the mirror. Unless you've got a profile shot, there's nothing much about a BMW that's pretty. Emphasize the big front and the detail of the wheel. Lee

The only way I could improve it is to drive this hot car!!
I like the angle you used. I probably would have used a polarizer, or filter to add some contrast between the colors of the sky and car, which are very similar. Of course you can always use photoshop, too!

beautiful shot and a nice unusual angle....
cheers!
I like Matthew's suggestions. You could possibly do a sky replacement in PS and use a blue sky with some white clouds. Would be nice if those could be part of our equipment we carry around and display when we are ready to take the shot.--Rene

Just a couple of minor points for improvement that strike me:
--Framing: Just a small shift to the left would have eliminated that tree at the rear of the car. Baring that,
--Depth of Field: A wider aperture would have rendered said tree, and the other stuff back there, out-of-focus. And, when I shoot photos of a car, I like to
--Unscrew the Antenna. If I can that is. Radio antenna placement is an afterthought (or so it seems) to most car designers. Unscrewing them before shooting the car can give a cleaner look to the car's lines.
