A Very Small Pool

During yesterday's shoot, while I was preoccupied with leaves, stones and wood piles, my 10 year old daughter, her own camera in hand, made this discovery and suggested I shoot it. Nice to see her developing an eye.

Nice eye. At first glance, it looked like a single cell organism. I was half expecting to read "note the whiplike flagellum" when I blew up the thumbnail.

As it is, I like the reflections of the leaves in the water, and the fallen comrades just under the surface. Harbingers of things to come?

Excellent, Buz. Love the composition and detail. It almost looks like mercury.
