After our visit to Mammoth Hot Springs and Tower Falls, we headed out of the park and up US89 to Great Falls, MT for our first motel stay in five days. We chose to travel on the US highways rather than the interstates so we could get a close look at the countryside and the small towns along the way. It was a great choice and Montana is indeed "Big Sky Country".
