We arrived back at camp late from our five mile hike to Inspiration Point and Hidden Falls so we cooked a simple meal and rested around the campfire. We turned in about 9:00 PM and had no sooner done so than a very violent thunder storm began, raining hard and lightning flashes and thunder every few seconds. It lasted about two hours!
