The road East from Silver City was much better than the Western approach. We proceeded to our goal of Craters of the Moon National Monument, arriving late. We decided to spend a second night there and explore the monument the following day. This photo was taken from atop Inferno Cone, a cinder cone on the look drive, and looks west toward some spatter cones below.
