In spite of the increase of new buildings in Manama, the capital still retains many old and traditional features.
This is another image taken during my wander around the souk on Tuesday lunchtime.
Several of these old wooden windows still exist, although these days you're more likely to find them on sale, for vast amounts of money in antique shops.
