I headed into town this morning to get some money out of the bank, pay my credit card, buy a map, read the newspapers and drink a coffee. All of these things I accomplished, and headed back home on the bus. In the meantime, Craig had come over and had been getting on with the fence, in between blethering to the neighbours and drinking cans of Coke. It was very warm, and Craig seemed to be suffering as he carried, sawed and nailed wooden planks. Nevertheless, like the trooper he is, he carried on until the job was almost done. Tomorrow he will finish the last section of fence then make a start on clearing the earth and rubble that remains in the garden. By way of a start for him, I began throwing all the scrap wood and lopped branches I could onto the brazier. All this needs to be done before he makes a start on knocking down the 10' brick wall. We went off to the camera club again tonight. We were given a talk and presentation by a professional photographer who also let us into some of the secrets as to how he manages such stunning images. Couldn't be more of a contrast with last week, and I am glad that I went. Next week might not be so useful, however, as it would seem that we are to be shown someones photographs from New Zealand. Can't wait for that!
