hmm ... Okay I'll try bracketing next time and see if that helps. Thanks!

Joey,
Another technique that I've been using is to use a tripod and bracket a few shots then layer 2 shots in PS and erase part of the top layer.

P.S. Another version of this is in my IR galleries here at PBase. I like it better but I wanted to make sure that I stuck to the B&W or Sepia theme.

I am the layer meister don't you doubt it, lol! I just need to take better originals. It was over cast but the only sunlight was directly in front of me ... see I should know better.

I'll post another couple that I took today with a little better results.

Thanks again!

Joey,
If you want to post the original I would be happy to play around with it in PS. You can post it in the Samples gallery if you want to.

Joey,
Did you try using layers in PS?

Thank you Roberta ... IMO I'm afraid overexposing the sky during post-processing ruins the whole image. The original is not like that so I've had to balance between overexposure of the sky and getting the detail to pop in the trees and building. I'm only hoping I've found a semi-happy medium enough to draw some attention.

Joey,
Fine detail and interesting combination of IR and sepia (?)
