09Sept05 Strange Panoramic Merge

Boston, MA

Photo a Day, Day 163...It is 5 minutes to midnight so I guess I'm going to just post this and stop fussing with it...
Last day of PS World today.. Took two more of Katrin Eismann's classes one of which was pretty much having fun with photomerge.. I'm typically very fussy with getting everything to line up etc with my panoramas but she was just saying go shoot some things and play... but I still want to fuss with it.. would have really helped if I hadn't walked about 5 feet between taking the shots of the high rise on the right and taking the ones on attached to it on the left... but I guess that adds to the oddness of the image.. and it was fun...oh and btw even though you could likely count them the way this is done, there are 9 images here...

Lots of PhotoshopCS2 ;)

Good lesson well applied.

I think its unusualness (is that a word?) is what makes it an interesting photo.
I noticed the misaligned columns on the building right off but after viewing it for a few moments I understand the role they play in the big picture.
What I'm trying to say is that I like it!
