D2H Nikkor 300mm F/2.8 AFS II TC-17E

This was a test prior to taking this combination to Chincoteague. I was reasonably satisfied with the results. On this afternoon the Egrets were very cooperative, feeding close to the Ferry landing parking lot. They were very active. A group of 12-24 Snowy Egrets and this Great Blue Heron were within shooting distance.
