Star Trails over Half Dome

A 20 minute exposure of star trails over Half Dome in Yosemite NP.

Lots of planes (red lines) spoiled this shot, but oh well.

Had Noise Reduction on, so it took another 20 minutes of processing for the dark frame subtraction.

Close-up, still a very noisy shot, but acceptable zoomed out.

Nikon D70 ,Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G ED-IF AF-S DX Zoom
1198s f/4.5 at 55.0mm, iso 1600, Noise Reduction on.
On tripod full exif
