HIDING OUT

I just returned from a wonderful trip to California for a
family wedding near San Jose. Had visits with my niece and her family in Chico,
and family fun at the wedding. I found this little guy hiding under
a zinnia petal at the guest house where my cousin and I stayed.
I truly enjoyed my short visit to California.

Nice one, to get so close in there - fuzzy little thing, isn't he? San Jose is nice any time of year, but a little hot inland right now, huh? I love the fog in the late afternoons.

Looks like he's just starting on his journey-no pollen on his legs! Feels good to get back home doesn't it? I know the feeling.
