From this view you can see the pier covered in the blue tarp. I keep it covered because I had six kids in the yard today as I was working. I didn't want the kids to see the knobs on the wedge and turn them. I would cry if they did... :) I started the roof today. I am going slow trying to making sure everything is perfect. In the front of the observatory you can see the first recessed hinge sticking out. This image was taken about an hour before I quit for the evening. I did finish all of the hinges on the front. Everything is going better than I had hoped but somewhat slower. I didn't loose ANY of my view from the observatory.
