Great idea, Rajesh...and nice capture. The lighting works just right combined with the black background. The curled shavings up in the air are eye-catching. MFC

I agree on all points. The rich golden color represented in random shavings is an excellent way to express the beauty of wood and think you've nailed it with this photo. Take away the theme and this is still an incredible shot for any collection.

Thanks Deb and Katherine, you guys are so inspiring. yesterday I dug out this one .
This is almost an year old shot ,captured when I was getting my furniture done .
The light source again here is Morning Sun . I love it the natural way..Thanks for your comments once again.

Very cool idea for a shot of wood - I love the curled shapes of the shavings, the lighting and the gold color against the black background!
