The old painting is now sticked on a new canvas, ironed to flatten the deformations.It is at this time which the painting looks like a very flat picture!
There remains to me to tighten it on a new frame, to clean it, to take the varnish out, to putty the gaps, to make the final retouches, and to cover with two layers of varnish...It becomes very rich and deep, with much relief.
