Conkers.

We are heading towards the season of
Bruised Knuckles missing shoe laces and empty
Vinigar bottles Conker Season is coming.
The Rules
Always use your Fathers shoelaces (he wont be able to chase you )
Soak the conker in Mums best Vinigar (if she Runs out she can buy some more )
Use Your Fathers Drills to make a Hole in the Conker
Thread the lace through tie a good knot
and your in Bussines

The boys were a bit chauvanistic about their precious conker games and all the secret recipes they had for hardening them. But I do believe I got bashed knuckles, so they must have let me play.
Please show when they come out of the casings, they are so beautiful.

Use to play that all of the time as kids. Never heard about the vinegar, though. And I do remember quite a few bruised knuckles. Thanks for the memories.
