Resolution & CA chart

Compared to Sigma 18-50 mm f/2.8 zoom lens. Notice high (>54 lp/mm) and consistent central resolution from f/2.8 to f/11. Sigma, on the other hand, has exceptional central resolution from f/3.5 to f/8. Edge resolution is notably higher with Nikkor up to f/8 where zoom gets even. Chromatic abberation is much lower with the prime (as much as 3x) up to f/8 where Sigma takes over.
