Vultures

The growing cluster. Around 5 pm the vultures begin to arrive. Often first observed at very high altitude, they spiral down in a
glide and perhaps six or eight of them can be seen circling at once. When they reach treetop level they land on the top-most
branches. They time their final approach so that each will land about one minute apart. On occasion, a vulture that was landing
would bump or disturb other birds. There aren't any squabbles over this, and the birds would quietly move over to provide space
for the newcomer.Vultures make no noise. Unlike the usual birds, one doesn't detect any verbal sounds whatsoever.
