24 August

We became so fed up of receiving up to around 6 advertising telephone calls a day
(always at the most inconvenient time)
so decided to take advantage of BT's current offer of registration to the Telephone Preference Service
and free caller display - Hence a photograph of one of our new telephones!

We registered with TPS about 18 months ago - does make a big difference but takes a while to take effect.

My great great grandparents had one just like this back in the day, sitting next to the butter churner. Brings back memories...

If the red light blinks is it a telemarketer? LOL
We have a registration system in Pennsylvania that allows us to register our number, then if they call we can report them for abuse. Its free.........so far.

Interestingly it syas One.tel not BT. Over here One.Tel went under in a big way. A number of people are doing time and have lost all the trappings of wealth.

whatever you do, dont stare at the red light!
