This means a lot.

Deaf with CAPITAL D means you are REALLY Deaf.
Totally immersed in deaf culture.

Lower case "d" means you are somewhat part of
deaf culture or you are not part of it. It usually
means you are hard of hearing, oral, or just on
your own.

The two same colors but different shades including
the slash shows that you are deaf no matter what.
You weave back and forth between both worlds often
times.
