Laura Milholland

Muir Woods National Monument, CA

A sequoia had fallen across the path (high enough to still walk under) and the
tree continues to grow. What is seen here is this new growth.

Laura, Nice wooland scene, how interesting that it continues to grow as if nothing had happened.

I wonder if there were any last words as it fell? ("Not again!") The muted colors are perfect, and a good match for the red wood

Really lovely. I can hear the soft thudding sound of walking on a forest trail. And the smell of fir and pine tree's. sigh. . . Linda
