Momma and Papa Swan

Momma patiently waits for Papa to finish grooming as the children have already gone into the water. See my City Park Swan gallery.
Besides the five cygnets, this pair has a pair of two year old swans in the Park. This is one of them that I shot (photographed) through a fence.

The pair of swan pictures is pretty but I like the swan behind the fence better. Fo me it is just more eye appealing.

I think Cliff is right about which ones which..... I had a big shock when you mentioned "shot through the fence" my mind was miles away! Nice to keep in touch with 'your' family

Gorgeous couple! In the other day I had a chance to take a shot at a swan family; mama, papa and seven cygnets were swimming some 50 meters away from me. Out of a blue came a small motor boat between me and those swans, who got scared and swam away. No way to take a shot!
