This is just down from Rockwall Pass (still day 3), we are met with more great views as we descend toward our camp at Tumbling Creek.
But first we will take a very short detour to the right in front of the peak, to wolverine pass, the only break in the Rockwall (that I know of).
Not sure if it is the time of year, this particularly year or what, but the wildflowers do not compare with what you find in the PNW. Still the Indian Paint Brush is very thick in places and ranges in color from green to dark red. I think you can see just a little bit of it here. I almost cropped the bottom of this out, but changed my mind, what do you think?
