Photo number 365. And with that, I'm done.
It's been a tough year personally, and photographically. The reason I started the PAD a year ago
was it marked the end of a tough private spell when someone close to us was undergoing treatment
for cancer. As I was getting ready for my tripthat same person was sat at home drinking Champagne,
celebrating a year since the main operation they went through. As I said to them at the time "you'll never know
how proud I was of you. The way you fought your cancer head on, unflinching. You're incredible."
I meant every word. And I thank my lucky stars that, the person in question is here today. Many
others are unfortunately not.
So here we go with the thank-you's, and there are many of them.
First of all to my muse, and subject so many times this year, you've been more patient with me
than I have any right to ask. Thank-you.
The rest are in no particular order, this is just how it all fell out of my head and onto the page.
To my three main consiglieries, and three people that have inspired me so many many times, to
just shoot whatever scene I'm looking at a bit differently. Niall, Chris and Jude Mc.
Then to the "Ecossa-nostra", the Scottish PAD contingent, who've kept me afloat in recent times
with their comments.
Antonis, Bandito, Terry, Gail, Gayle C, Laine, and many nameless others, who despite me being
incredibly Tardy with comment leaving, have always taken the time to pop by and view my galleries.
With that I'm going to sign off for a while. I'm going to post the rest of this gallery, and
leave the camera in the bag for a bit. Consolidate, and decide where I'm going with this. Will
there be a year 2? Well, you'll jsut have to watch this space.
