Hi MFC, and thanks for your comments. This was taken right near my home in south eastern Australia. We have sulphur crested cockatoos in abundnace here. These ones were settling down for the night with much noise and activity. Despite the very bright sky, it was late in the evening.

Gayle, I really like your perspective here...and the interesting composition. I like seeing all that activity centered around those two tree tops...neat balance in the way the limbs exit the frame. The bright sky in contrast makes a good background & adds to a sense of translucency in all those open wing feathers. Nice shot of these cockatoos. Where was this? MFC
