Excellent color and composition, and ya' gotta just love the flying pigs. Do those pigs have horns? --Melanie

Looks like they could take off at any moment! Good catch! Helen

Deb, it sure does look like they're "trying to fly" with those outstretched arms and uplifted wing tips...but I guess they're just making a plea for some help to get airborne :) I also like the blue-on-blue coloring here...and the white elements in contrast. The composition is really appealing too as they alternate up and down across the plain sky. Nice find and capture. MFC

Thanks for the comment and question, Bev. These flying pigs have no purpose other than to make visitors and residents alike say, "What was Cincinnati thinking?" These little piggies are sitting atop what are supposed to represent riverboat smoke stacks. Cincinnati has many different flying pigs all over the city. Why pigs, you say? I THINK it has something to do with the city's one-time domination of the pork market, hence the nickname, "Porkopolis." ---Deb

Nice composition, Deb. I like your one-and-two dimensional effect. They're "lined up" - and, the depth is obvious. Nicely done! There has to be a story to go with this image. Do your flying pigs have a purpose? Bev
