Thanks all. You have no idea how many shots it took to get the highlights right without glare. I'd be lying if I said I set that time on purpose, but the watch doesn't work, so no time-lapse from this one. Oddly enough, it's the only non-digital watch in the house. I'll have to borrow a nice chronograph from someone.

Beautiful color, clarity, and lighting, Tristan... nice background contrast and angled composition. I like how the time is set for just past the challenge end (10). If you feel like it (*), you could also experiment with long exposures to get some motion in the second hand, but this shot stands very well on its own. Good idea...nice shot. MFC

Excellent macro, Tristan. I really like the fact there is no glare. Wonderful lighing. Perfect representation of the theme.---Deb
