Sunday Market at Gare du Midi.
The market is all around the train station.
Sells everything from household goods to clothing to groceries.
Locals and tourists gather here every sunday for some serious shopping.

Top Left: the waffle van.
At 1.5 Euro a piece, the waffles are as fresh as you can imagine.
If you have the patience to let it wait just about 30 seconds more,
crunchy sugar crust forms around the rim. yum.
We had 2 of them while wandering around the market. :)

Top Right: the wonderful international stall selling all sorts of olives and marinated dishes.

Bottom Left: fresh produce abound.

Bottom Right: beautiful flowers. saw a bouquet of basil (about 4 ft tall), couldn't bring it home though.
