Dave, this is a striking image. All previous comments have expressed my opinion about this shot, so I'll just say thanks for sharing. I do have one question. Is there a difference between a Great Blue Heron and a Blue Heron? Just curious.---Deb

What a beauty. You really get a sense of the textures of its feathers -- so downy soft looking on the neck, and crisply defined on its back. Great shot.
