Fast Track*
by Jeff D

I love to drive fast with the top down on my convertible and will sometimes take my camera out to capture something interesting along the way. It can be a real challenge to frame a shot with a shutter speed slow enough to blur some of the motion, holding the camera in one hand, the steering wheel in the other, doing 85 mph and end up with photo that is worth keeping. I really like the sense of motion in this shot. If you look carefully at the reflection in the motorcycle's chrome crankcase cover, you will see me driving along side.

Jeff, I really like how you achieved a sharp focus on this rider...the blurred background is very effective. Neat how the flag's a flyin' and a cigar is sticking out of the riders' mouth. Be careful taking those pictures! :) MFC
