Keep it green by Norbert

France, Alsace, Auberge de L'Ill

The restaurant Auberge de I'lll in Alsace has been a national institution for the past 124 years
The restaurant serves opulent dishes that haven't changed in 40 years, like musse of frogs' legs, a terrine of foie gras with truffles etc.
Paul Haeberlin won his first Michelin star in 1954. He won his second in 1962 and his third in 1967. The Auberge de L'Ill has held three Michelin stars continuously since then. Only one other restaurant - Paul Bocuse, just outside Lyon - has held three stars for longer. And even then, only for one more year.
That Image was taken from the Bridge overlooking the Restaurant terrace and the bank of the River Ill.

A beautiful, vernal scene, Norbert...I esp like the placement of the boat, the abstract reflection, and the hanging willow. Well seen and taken. MFC
