Probably the most effective image in the gallery in terms of what it says about the typhoon and the people it affected. We can feel the effect of the high water on both the city and these people, as they respond to the experience. They seem to keep their emotions in check -- there is no panic, fear, frustration, anger, or suffering here. There is simply business as usual. The wading people and semi-submerged vehicles are incongruous. Not much abstraction here, but certainly a rich expression of contrasting human values such as mutual support, amusement, a bit of hostility perhaps (the lady at left), and acceptance.
