Fallen

Way-hey! I managed to walk all the way to the supermarket and back again without a stick or a crutch! My leg is a little sore after the exertions, but not unbearably so. To tell you the truth, I haven't really been using my crutch regularly since I came back from Portugal at the beginning of June - although that is not to say that I haven't had to use it every now and again - but recently it has been more again than now. So, yipee for me. Perhaps I shouldn't speak too soon... wouldn't want to tempt fate, would I (I will win the lottery jackpot, I will win the lottery jackpot, I WILL win the lottery jackpot... That's the kind of fate I don't mind tempting!). I managed to get over last night's football result, but I did notice that there were an inordinately large number of people wearing R*****s replica tops wandering about the retail park with smug looks on their faces. Soon wipe them off next Tuesday night when Celtic beat Artmedia 10-1, and those who will not be named draw Liverpool (on account of R*****s having such a good record in European competition that they are third seeds). It never fails to amaze me just how short some people's memories are when they cast aspersions on Celtic's European record. Hey, we may not be the best team in Europe, but name any other Scottish team that has made the group stages of the Champions League, or that has played in a European final in recent years. Perhaps when Celtic are joined in that club by some other team, then the fans of that team will earn gloating rights. In the meantime, I think they ought to stop worrying about Celtic's performances and concentrate on supporting their own teams. As for R*****s fans, (as well as all those who don't like R*****s), they ought to click here and have a wee chuckle or be outraged at the injustice and truth of it all! Hail, hail!

I visited Dudhope Castle last year.
The name of this castle sums up Celtic's chances in the Champions' League this year!

Didn't r*****s get through to the group stage a couple of years ago only to find themselves in the same group as United? I seem to recall they let Phil Neville walk through their defence to score, now that is embarassing :-)

The tones and textures in here are perfect. So happy to know you're almost crutchless and caneless.

Stu, too soon we'll have nothing to look at but dead leaves. AH! Where is the summer going?

Oooh, nice series of tones you've got going on Stu. Certainly feels like autumn.

Stewart, well done on turning something plain into a piece of art.
