Lily of the Nile Seed Pod

I've never noticed the seed pods on my Lily of the Nile before. I am going to wait for them to dry and then plan to try to grow some from seed next year.

I find it sooo rewarding to be able - or even to attempt to grow - plants from your own stock of seeds. Nice close up

the best part of PAD is finding new things you didn't notice before. Nice perspective here.

Do you need to put a brown paper bag over the seed head until they dry, Ealine ?
Good luck with it...nice to grow on something of your own.

I didn't know you could do that. I like the way this comes toward you. It almost seems to come right out of the monitor. Great close up.

Nicely composed shot. It's always neat to see the seeds when the pod finally opens up.
