This unusual flower reminds me more of an abstract painting than a flower.....
but a flower it is none-the-less and I find it strangely beautiful and moving.
Found outside the B'hai Temple in Chicago's North Shore area near Evanston,
Illinois, you would have expected to find something like this in a botanic
gardens somewhere. For you enthusiasts of flower biology, see if you can
identify here the pistils, stamens, anthers, filaments and petals. Good luck.
