July 22: SP Friday: Ninety by Noon

Colorado Springs, CO

That is 90 degrees F (32 C) not my age ;-)
We are still having quite a heat wave, so I'm getting out early to get my shots and then back to the A/C. But I'm still having fun as you can see here.

I took several images of the Garden of the Gods which I will post later in the day.
**Here are the Garden of the Gods Shots**

Oh, I discovered that this lens makes doing a hand held SP quite easy.

Great shot with the 10-22!

I am lucky to work at 10,000 ft. It gets me out of that frying pan on the plains. This image conveys that you should be looking for the A/C soon. Where are your sunglasses?

It would be quite helpful if you could refrain from posting great pictures and ideas for the 10-22 lens - my credit card is starting to tremble with fear!

(great SP, Robin)

Bi-focals! Ah-ha. I'm not alone!!!! Great shot, I'm liking that lens.

So i take it that you're resting indoors, nice and quiet, during the pm hours? I don't know - that grin says that you're having fun, dude! T-20!

I like this SP. Full of fun! It was a blazer here in Orange County, too, and muggy. Ugh!

Robin, thought you might be interested in the weather at Rancho Bernardo. It's 96 degrees as I write this (4 p.m.), winds out of the west at 8mph, and the humidity is 36%. Out in El Cajon, it's 99 degrees, at my place, it's 90 degrees, and in Coronado, it's 80 degrees. No bike ride today! Too darned HOT!

Good pic!

Nice to meet you. Another pleased EFS 10-22 owner. Jeremy has been having a lot of fun with his.

Now that's a close-up! Be careful in that heat.

It's 90 back here too Robin! And quite humid. Very uncomfortable.

nice SP!

Love it!

This heat is getting old, huh?

hee hee!! great new lens!

What a riot. 90 in Colorado with 13 percent humidity. You wimpy San Diego boy need to visit the southeast. Today it's a tad cooler then yesterday, only 92 degrees and 70 percent humidity. The weather folks do predictions like this... "Today will be 92 degree but it will feel like hell" LOL!

Fun self portrait, Robin. Does look like a smiley face.
Herb 22-Jul-2005 17:50
It's smiley :) :)
