21 july pass towards France

Mont Cenis 1

I have always wondered if Julius Caesar
used to do the Mont Cenis or the Montgenèvre pass...

This is so good with the echo of the road behind and that car in just the right place.

Stunning vista, Adal. I agree on the Adams comparison. I love how the fork in the road lunges with a vengeance into the mountainside.

Great angle and framing. And your decision of these b&w tones work so well!!
Bravo.

Um ... all roads lead to Rome!
Very dramatic landscape, Adal!

I've never seen dotted lines to the outside of a roadway.
I'd be careful passing throughout this long and winding mountain pass road!

Bon , d'accord pour Julius Caesar,
mais Napoléon Bonaparte, il ne faudrait pas l'oublier lui aussi!

pretty strong, maybe a bit too dark - but still very enjoyable

I mean Ansel of course.

This image has an Anselm Adams feeling to it.
A vintage landscape, Adal!
