After several visits to Angkor Wat I finally broke down and rode the "balloon" to get the arial view. While about 1 km away, the view is quite impressive to say the least. Fairly early in the morning, I had the ride to myself - along with a few local kids that tagged along. We were also able to see the airport and the Vietnam Airlines plane that skidded off the runway the day before (see the next picture!).
